Founded by Russel B. Wells in 1976, The Briton House Retirement Centre was established with a vision to create a place where residents find community, physical, intellectual, and spiritual nourishment, and most importantly, care. Today, it is one of the few family owned and operated retirement residents in the region dedicated to the highest standards of service by experienced staff members.
The Briton House offers a wide variety of activities, varied suites and the ability to enjoy a 15,000 square foot indoor garden all year round. Our facility also includes a recital hall built for live performances, a glass-domed swimming pool, a gym, a sun-simulation room, an outdoor courtyard, and a spacious dining lounge.
The Briton House is conveniently located in the Mount Pleasant and Eglinton neighbourhood of Toronto, within walking distance to local cafes, restaurants, services, and soon the new subway at Mt. Pleasant and Eglinton. If you’re ever in the neighbourhood we invite you to visit us and see what it would be like to be a part of our community and The Briton House family. Read More
